Where…

Seychelles used to be associated with luxurious rest on the wonderful islands with yachts, mysterious fruits and dolce vita. And it is really so. But it’s not exactly what we are interested in there. A short time ago nobody could imagine that this place is one of the best for sport fishing.

The main point of Seychelles is that every fisherman will find fishing according to his taste. Spinning, flyfishing, sea jig, trolling – all kinds of fishing and all – of the best quality. A score of fish species can be caught during the trip – it’s not such a usual thing at all. 
Undersea landscape, sea current and definite idea of fishing made this place one of the world’s leading centres of Salt Water fishing. There are a lot of islands in the ocean, but not each of them has a good fishing arrangement. Besides, it takes quite reasonable time and money to get to Seychelles.

Seychelles is an island state in the eastern part of Afrika. It consists of 115 islands and can be divided into 2 regions: Inner islands, located close to the main island Mahe; and Outer islands, located 400-1600 km from Mahe. Outer island consist of 4 groups: Amirantes, Alphonse, Farquhar, Aldabra.

These very islands are of great interest for trophy fishing. Climate on Seychelles is mild and constant during the year. The average temperature of the year is about 25°С. Though there is pretty much fish all year round, period from October till May is the best for fishing in the Outer islands. It’s a time of north-western monsoon, winds are not so strong as usual, that allows moving to distant atolls and comfortable fishing. Anyway, there always a possibility to catch in the Inner islands, which is always open for fishing.

The “Ce La Vie” catamaran

Our basic offer is fishing on the board of the “Ce La Vie” catamaran near African bank, Rimier, St. Joseph, Daroche atolls from Amirantes group, Outer islands. St.Joseph atoll is the biggest one from the mentioned, it is located 130 sea miles to the south-east from Mahe. The inner St. Joseph lagoon is 10x12 km, shallow and surrounded by many sandy and grassy areas called “flats”. Splendid fishing for various kind of fish awaiting for you right here. Some of fish have 
record-breaking sizes.
Catamaran Leopard 46 called “Ce La Vie” 2003 year built and 15,5 m long is ready for cruises according to the root. Its construction includes the smallest details. There are 4 cabins with double beds inside – 3 for fishermen and one for the crew: captain, cook and professional fishing guide. The ship’s interior is decorated in Creole tradition.
